Your role in the team:

We have an exceptional opportunity to join Instrument System team as a senior developer. You will be responsible for services that help manage IG offering across multiple asset classes (Equity, FX, Commodities, Rates, Bonds) via automated channels with an opportunity to work on a green field project to completely renovate the existing system. Instrument data is the starting point for many other systems so that eventually IG clients can trade. You will be:

  • Delivering high-quality software within a complex business domain
  • Contributing to first-class technical solutions that can handle high volumes of transactions
  • Collaborating with the business • Maintaining high operational standards within a regulated financial business
  • Ensuring our systems are highly available and resilient to extreme market events

Skills Required

  • Passionate developer with core Java skills
  • Experience of developing systems with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Desire to learn business domain and motivation for personal development
  • We are exposed to many Java frameworks and related technologies, any of the following would be advantageous: REST, Spring, Spring boot, Apache Tomcat, Apache Ignite, Kafka, JMS, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, JPA
