Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver Workday projects and enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering both functional and technical aspects in DevOps model
- Support the Workday Operations including incident management, Bi-annual upgrades, Tenant Management and maintenance activities. Exercise discretion and judgment with little to no supervision in carrying out daily tasks.
- Contribute to enhancing and refinement of requirements by working with Business, product owners, technical leads and provide recommendations on the nature, scope and complexity of solutions and closely work with 3rd party integrators.
- Develop Workday functional solutions, Custom Reports, Workday Documents and support Integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, BIRTs and/or other available methods.
- Participate in and contribute to configuration / code reviews.
- Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant experience.
- Project level experience in Software Development, Database concepts and Data Management (RDBMS) and SQL.
- Solid knowledge of key HR system concepts – Sound understanding of interdependencies between various systems and downstream impacts
- Understanding of Integrations framework – SFTP, File Encryption, Middleware, Web servers, Multi Factor Authentication, SSO/Auth Provider, SaaS, Version control system.
- Must have strong understanding of data integrity and data privacy requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and Manager
- Ability to diagnose a problem, informed by data and lead correction efforts. Uses rigorous logic to understand hidden problems and identify effective solutions without adding complexity
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Focus on quality, data accuracy and system integrity
- Ability to adhere to styles and processes and learn new technologies quickly
Desired Skills:
- High level knowledge of Workday HR system, Salesforce platform or Mulesoft Cloud hub is a huge plus
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of Change and Release Management process
